About Dr. Douglas Hilbert
Dr. Douglas Hilbert has called Texas home since 2002. It was here he met his wife, then a Lieutenant and now a full Colonel and neurologist in the United States Air Force, who is getting ready to retire from the military. They proudly embrace their life as a military family. Outside of his practice, Dr. Hilbert treasures time with his two wonderful children, Leila (12) and Lawrence (10). He actively supports their passion for wrestling, coaching their club team where his son is a three-time Texas State Champion and All-American, and his daughter has placed second in state numerous times and won several major tournaments. Both children are also active in their school choir, enjoy art, and practice Jiu-Jitsu, a passion they share with their father. Leila especially enjoys painting, writing, and reading. The Hilbert family loves to travel whenever they can and cherishes quiet family moments together.
