Cassie is a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a background as dynamic as her personality. Born and raised in San Antonio, she graduated from John Jay High School, where she played varsity basketball and volleyball—experiences that shaped her competitive drive and team-first mindset. She went on to coach girls’ basketball for three years at Antonian High School, where her teams earned multiple district championships. That same mindset of grit and excellence now defines her approach to nursing.
Cassie earned her nursing credentials from Galen College of Nursing and is board certified through the state of Texas. Before entering human medicine, she worked as a surgical veterinary nurse, where she developed early skills in procedural precision and patient care. Her clinical experience since then has spanned pediatrics to geriatrics and includes time on the front lines in the ICU COVID unit at Christus Santa Rosa – Westover Hills Hospital, where she proved her ability to handle high-pressure, complex situations with calm professionalism.
Cassie was hired at HilbertMD not just for her strong clinical background—but because she brings something extra. Firms like Goldman Sachs often recruit former collegiate athletes because they know the value of discipline, mental toughness, and the ability to perform under stress. That’s the same reason we brought Cassie into our practice. Her competitive athletic background gives her a unique edge in multitasking, critical thinking, and delivering exceptional patient care. She consistently outperforms her peers, not just through skill, but through a mindset built on resilience and high standards.
Outside the clinic, Cassie is a proud wife and devoted mother to four daughters. She’s especially proud that her second-oldest recently earned a Division I volleyball scholarship to the University of Delaware—no small feat in one of the most competitive youth sports in the country.
